RCM-3 continues a series of meetings in the frame of IAEA CRP-1575 (2009 – 2013) “Development, Characterization and Testing of Materials of
Relevance to Nuclear Energy Sector Using Neutron Beams”. The overall objective
of this CRP is to employ advanced neutron beam techniques for solving problems
of current interest of materials research in nuclear energy sector, to
standardize and qualify relevant experimental techniques and modelling methods
and to promote and establish collaboration among participants of the project
and beyond.
Presently the CRP-1575 includes 10 active research contracts and 9 research agreements with overall representation of 18 Member States. The 1st RCM was held from 31 May to 4 June 2010 in Vienna (Austria). The 2nd RCM was held from 19 to
23 September 2011 in Beijing, China. The 3rd RCM of the CRP will take place from 13 to 17 May 2013 in Dubna, Russia. The Meeting is organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the Frank Laboratory of Neutron Physics of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (FLNP JINR) and ROSATOM
State Nuclear Energy Corporation.
